AngleseyThis trip is always popular so booking early is essential.I always enjoy my visits to the Island of Anglesey - an unspoilt island that overlooks an area of beautiful coastline with the backdrop of the mountains of Snowdonia across the Menai Strait which provides an inspiration to many. Anglesey and North Wales have been attracting artists for many years, perhaps because of the stunning views, interesting sandy bays with boats or sleepy villages. It has a special interplay of light and sea that has inspired many of my own paintings and always leaves me wanting to return soon. As always it is up to the individual what you choose to do, there are no hard and fast rules, you may wish to settle down to some serious sketching/painting, watch your tutor/fellow artists or perhaps from time to time, take the opportunity to explore and collect some inspiring photographs. |
